Over 6 million served- it’s contest time at jkOnTheRun!
Kevin and I are very happy to announce our 6 millionth page view was served up this week, making jkOnTheRun one of the biggest (and best, but that’s just our opinion) mobile technology blogs on the Internets. ![]()
In celebration of this momentous event, we are kicking off a mega-contest featuring a ton of very expensive prizes. What we plan to do is kick off a new contest every few days with a super prize to be awarded to the first entrant who successfully completes the task. Oh yes, these prizes are so good you’re going to have to work a little to win them. Each contest will take the form of a scavenger hunt where we ask you to find a particular post (or comment) on jkOnTheRun. It should be a lot of fun and to give you an idea how good the prizes are take a look at the sponsors who have donated loot for the contest:
- Dynamism
- Microsoft
- iCube
- Verizon Wireless
- Vaja Cases
- jkOnTheRun– hey, that’s us!
We’re going to keep the contests running until we run out of prizes so everyone will have a shot at winning something.
The first contest is for a super prize, a copy of Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate ($450 MSRP). No pansy Home, Basic or Pro for our readers, this is the Ultimate version of Vista, a full license so you can install it on anything you want. Here’s what you have to do to win the prize:
Leave a comment on this post containing the actual web link (permalink) from somewhere on jkOnTheRun that answers this question-
Find the very first post that offers a hands-on look at the Sony U70 ultra-portable PC.
That’s all you have to do, so get busy looking. The first commenter with the correct link in the comment gets a full boxed version of Vista Ultimate.

For the Typical Day post
Is it possibly this one:

unboxing at http://jkontherun.blogs.com/jkontherun/2004/07/sony_u70_jack_o.html
however I’d say http://jkontherun.blogs.com/jkontherun/2004/07/sony_u70_review.html is the first genuine official review as you suggest that you hadn’t finished the review in this post http://jkontherun.blogs.com/jkontherun/2004/07/sorry_for_the_s.html
so Emily gets it I guess :)
I’d have to say that based on your question the first review was: http://jkontherun.blogs.com/jkontherun/2004/07/sony_u70_review.html
