I’ve never run across that problem on the U, but that’s an 800×600 screen luckily.

There might be programs, aside from games, with fixed screens — say they assume 600×800 — that wouldn’t display properly.

I have a copy of OS X on the way and will load it on the U soon. :)

Mike: Every Windows program should be OQO compatible unless it’s a high end game that needs good specs to run, but nearly all Windows software should run on it fine..

I would love to see a Mac Tablet which would give me a long hard look at what I am using. Having to replace programs is the switchers worst nightmare but I would certainly have to in that case. As for this program MediaMan, I believe there is a Mac program that does the same thing:

What happens if Apple does a “Powerbook Mini” (I wish I had thought of that, but you linked to someone else who did!)? Would you switch to Mac — and then have to track down equivalents of these programs?

Also, if OQO ever pulled out their finger and sent you a long-term loaner review unit, would you also test all these linked programs for OQO-compatibility?
