I have tablet PC. I want to install IIS, but during the installation process (through the “add/remove programs” in control panel), the computer asked me to insert Windows XP Professional Service pack 2 (CD-Rom).

Hmm.. I don’t have that CD-Rom. All I have when I purchase the Tablet PC is Windows Tablet PC Edition (Emergency CD-Rom).

Any idea of how to install IIS 5.1 in Tablet PC?

It may interest you to know that many of the touch screen based experiences and media servers in Best Buy are based on embeded linux boxes. I’ve spend many hours in Best Buy stores doing last minute tweeks to those boxes via a SSH Shell using SecureCRT and SecureFX :)

One question… does the Tablet PC version of Windwos XP come with IIS Or at least able to be installed? I know XP Home doesn’t not allow IIS install, I need IIS so I can do my site develoipment lcoally.

Do you plan on doing more complete show notes for these show? There are some items I would like links to. The one that sticks in my mind is the mind map done by someone making the move to paperless.

Other than that it was a great show. I look forward ot future ones.
