OneNote 12 sounds awesome
Blog posts like this one from Rob Bushway make me want to load up Office 12 so I can play with the beta version of OneNote 12. Maybe.

Do it – be realize that once convertd to OneNote 12 format the .one files are not backward compatible or shareable with OneNote 2003 users (best I can tell). But it’s worth it.
