Why promote the 9.7 inch ebook reader without the price? Are they trying to estimate the acceptance so they can come up with the price?
Well, it won’t work. People decide to buy things like this AFTER they know the price — not before. When you promote a product too early, all you do is to blunt the excitement when it is really ready, and reduce your sales.

There’s a reason why responsible companies wait until they can ship before annouoncing a new product. And that includes announcing the price as well.
