As far as all the problems with Lenovo and the S10. I actively participate at the S10Lenovo.com site. It’s not the CSR’s fault as they only have what’s available from info on their computers. But some of the email responses the members have gotten over the past months go from disbelief to hilarious. I have been a IBM/Lenovo user of desktops & laptops for over 15 years now as my company leases from them.

Lenovo “inherited” IBM’s mission statement.

“We’re Not Satisfied Till You’re Not Satisfied”……

James, I think you’ll be quite pleased with the S10. Just keep the AC adapter handy, not a big deal since it’s pretty small.

Lenovo has had some serious issues with their specs. I don’t know if it’s a translation issue or what, but all sorts of features, sizes, prices, etc have been mixed up on their website. Hopefully they get things figured out because it looks really bad (and may begin to reflect on their build quality).

Woot! That one is on my short list of 10″ netbooks! Can’t wait to hear your comparison to the HP Mini. I particularly want deets on the keyboard and the speakers! (Remember those awesome speakers the Mini had, James?)

Well do the USA readers a favor that I have not seen on any other review site. All the units sent to reviewers so far have included bluetooth. NONE of the consumer shipped units in the USA market are including bluetooth. The Asian and now European market do. I (and a lot of others) ordered on the first day and specs from that day till the first known person got theirs on 9/24 could never be confirmed by any Lenovo CSR. The first month on the sales site was a moving target of options. Please point this out if they have “baited” your review unit.

I still have the fever quite bad and this will help me decide for sure.

Ah… given your earlier post about netbook fever I assumed you bought one :-) Maybe this will help you make up your mind.
