I went a little different. I purchased a reproduction WWII Gas mask bag. (Same bag Indiana Jones carries in the movies) Has room for my EeePC, Sony Reader, cell phone and a few other extras. For my P1610, I bought a slip case made for a 10 inch portable DVD player. The P1610 fits in it with room to spare. It was $9.99 at Walmart but you could probably find it online also. It sounds like it would fit the Eee PC.

I bought a Skooba sleeve (micro size) when it was on sale at 50% off. I would have preferred something even smaller, but I can carry the Eee with Power Supply and the Skooba then fits in my eBag Router bag (rolling backpack).
