Just to update you, the battery is a 9 cell battery and its release is imminent. We expect to have stock shortly and will be listing it on our site (with more spec’s) within the next few days. We’ll keep you posted as we do.

I’ve been using the extnded battery that comes from Samsung Parts. It gives me about 5 hours on my Q1. I originally got the information from Carrypad.

As much as I like more power for mobile devices; this battery doesn’t look like it will work for me. I tend to use Sammy most of the day with the 20-degree stand (the small one) and from the looks of the battery, the angle will be greatly reduced. Again, this is just me. If folks use the 80-degree stand more than the the 20, then this is a non-issue and looks like a winner for them. Hey, I know: we’ll call this the “80-20 rule”. Hows’s that for original? ;)
