HI, Guys,
Loved your podcast on the HTC 7501. I have a couple of issues. Firstly, I use the HTC as my only phone. I have two sim cards and an HTC S710. I'd intended to use the 7501 as a mobile office and the S-710 as my phone. After I got used to using the 7501 as a phone, I just leave the S-710 at home. I use the 7501 with the Samsung WEP200, BT 2.0 headset and I have absolutely no problems initiating calls from the bluetooth headset. Quality is crystal clear.

Give it a try. I did not have very much luck with several BT 1.2 headsets.

Also, I did see some photos on a blog some where of the Hitachi micro-drive that's in the HTC 7501. I'm 99% sure it's not flash memory.

I love the 7501 and have started a running blog on the phone.

Mine came with pre-release software, and you can read some of the issues, I've had since updating to the release software.

http://htc7501.blogspot.com/

To use the IE button with IE instead Opera, just go in and reassign that button to IE.

I live in Prague, Czech Republic, and bought mine from Amazon, because the 7501 came with WM 6.0. The 7500 sold in Europe comes with WM 5.0. Now HTC is providing downloadable upgrades for the 7500 to WM 6.0. I didn't want to have to reinstall the operating system. As mine came with pre-release software, I had to reinstall anyway.

Great Podcast!
