Minigorilla: Small External Battery Charger for Netbooks
Power is the bane of the mobile worker. The constant checking of remaining battery life can get almost manic as the meter approaches empty. External battery packs have been around for a long time but a new one from Powertraveller is designed for smaller gadgets and netbooks. The Minigorilla can power any gadget that requires 19v DC or less, and recharge the device battery, too.
The Minigorilla is very small and very portable; it can be easily thrown into a bag with the rest of the gear. It ships with a bunch of tips to fit lots of gadgets and is £99.95.

Unless you have a very inefficient netbook a bigger battery would be cheaper and more practical, so I dont quite see the point. At least not at that price

Other than the ability to use it with diff devices, why not just carry a spare battery?
about extra device specific battery vs this, with this you can charge without having to stop working (hibernate), vs a extra battery where you have to hibernate, swap batteries and then get back to working…
btw, i think it also comes with a usb port, so that it can charge a phone or similar as well as a laptop/netbook.
