Microsoft intros Mac Office 2008 site
If you haven’t yet seen a glimpse of the new Office suite for Mac, now’s your chance. Microsoft launched a site devoted to the productivity suite that provides some high-level descriptions of the new UI and functionality. As a former Entourage end-user, the new My Day feature looks quite handy. It’s almost like a schedule gadget that floats independently, but of course is tied to your Entourage calendar. Actually, since this is for Mac OS X, I guess that makes it more like a widget. ;)
If you watch some of the video demos, you can see an Office Ribbon influence; on many screens, there are various menu options floating above the document but below the standard menu interface.

No Onenote, so I wont be getting this
It’s funny how they made the Mac interface look like Windows. :)
I hope to dear God they fix the problem with inputting images in word and powerpoint on a mac (as JPGS!) and still not being able to view them on a PC.
Ever spent days on end preparing a powerpoint on your mac only to have to present it on a pc via projector and have NO IMAGES show up???
This is in error in programming with no current work around for Office 2004.
JK, I want to have sex with you. I hope you are gay because we can spend some great time together.
