My prediction: this is going to have little significant impact for Nokia. Ultimately, what would Nokia see as the benefit here? To influence purchasing decisions must obviously be their goal. So are people (including not only individuals but IT departments, CTOs, etc.) who are trying to decide between RIM devices, Nokia E-Series devices, Windows Mobile devices, iPhones, Androids, and Pres going to now weigh into their Nokia considerations that the Office-file-handling apps they can have now also include one more that is branded by MS? I really doubt it.

The way I read it:
1. MS strategically realize that they are not going to win the handset OS realm. Thus not giving it the highest priority over other businesses that they have.
2. MS would rather pick the lesser evil and partner with Nokia, then to promote Google or Apple.
3. RIM/Palm might be next?
