Were you ever able to get skype to work on the Advantage? I am actually considering purchasing one now. I want a windows mobile device but all the phones I try just are too small for my liking. With that browser it seems almost perfect. I love my OQO but battery life stinks and just a bit too heavy to seriously carry every where I go

The P1620 was just released a few months ago so there won’t likely be a replacement in the next 90 days. Fujitsu is working on a new 13.3″ tablet with passive digitizer and Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU (2.26GHz, 3MB L2 Cache, 25W). No word on release date.

smaller and lighter would be a plus that’s why i’m hesitating on the hp tx2000z series, how bout the 2710p or p1620 or anything coming up in the next 90 days.

Hmm… that’s a toughie, Solomon. If you’re willing to forgo touch capability, I’d say the Toshiba R500 is a pretty comparable device: 12-inch display, 2.4-pounds starting weight, 11.1″ x 8.5″ x .77 to 1″ in size. Processor is a little slower at 1.33 GHz however. Anyone else have any thoughts on a comparable device?

I would love to see a comparison with the new Skyfire browser. I’m using Skyfire now and it is INSANELY powerful. I can only hope that Opera 9.5 is just as good to encourage a whole new level of competition.

In fact, the one *negative* that I could put on Skyfire (this is a weird one) is that if I am looking for the mobile version of a webpage (Google for example), I get the full desktop version. But on a 5″ device, Skyfire should be incredible.

Thanks for slamming/including me in your video :) I have to say you inspired me to try out Opera Mobile 9.5 even more on my upgraded (cough) Advantage. Keep up the great work guys.

I also was quite impressed by that U110 at CES and hope to get my hands on one to play with as well.
