As a note: I think it is apple’s fault that they have to email you a .ics file. I do not believe apple allows applications to interact with the Calendar application. I think it’s off limits to developers (as are modifying the other programs and contact data, etc). Perhaps I’m wrong, but I think I’m right. :-) Someone will correct me if I’m wrong, I’m sure!
