The reason I haven’t ripped into the Vega is because it is only $700 so some compromises must be made. I was hard on DualCor because that’s a $2,000 device, a whole different animal. I still think an expensive device from anyone that lacks at least WiFi is crazy. I’m not fond of the USB dongle approach that Raon has taken with the Vega but I understand to include it would have driven up the price and missed their target audience. At least Raon put a dongle in the box.

We’ll give it an objective look when we get an evaluation unit to play with, something that should happen before too long.
