Tracy said "losing my nVidia graphics card, and going from 1.8 GHz to 1.5 GHz. It’s not often I step down in computing power, but I think it will be worth it and not a horrible loss. Perhaps the loss in computing power will help with my multitasking problems, such as watching a video podcast or TV show off iTunes while doing homework. Oddly enough, not much homework gets done that way"....

I'm a Samsunq Q1 user and i can use video files or sound music without drift by using Process Tamer. With it, you can can choose the level of priority : Low, Belom Normal Normal, Upper normal, High and Real-Time. So for mutimedia exe files (VLC, WMP, TNT TV, Screamcaster for radio...), i choose High, low for Firefox, Below Normal for Explorer or Xnview (nice photo files browser and converter)... Excellent for smooth XP experience ! All settings are memorized. I use the free version 2.000.15 without registration code to change every 6 month like with the last one. I use Process Tamer on my standard PC too. Try it and comment... You need to stop sound about System Notification to kill the random plop, After that, it's really nice...

Can one of you record a video for daily use in pure slate mode?

Inking is such a pain to me compared to thumboarding or typing on a regular keyboard, so I gave up on it on the Sony U and OQO.

I miss Palm Graffiti because there was instant conversion upon inking (w/o translation) and Graffiti was very accurate for me.

I find inking on my Lenovo X41 Tablet cumbersome (much slower than thumboarding and typing, prone to error, editing is a bear, etc.) also, so it's not about screen size (Sony U and OQO).

Thanks.
