James - thank you for the good words and glad you like the reviews! I just posted up Part 2 so you can finish watching the show.

Pym and Ayrkain - you're very right. The iLiad is a great device, I just wish it cost about half of it's $699 price tag. That would put it more in line with the Sony Reader and the Amazon Kindle pricing.

I really wanted an Iliad, but couldn't afford it. If it comes down in price, I'd happily ditch the Sony Reader for it.

I've been using an iLiad for a year now and love the device. Yes, you can draw on the files in various thicknesses. Yes, it takes native PDFs and HTML files, etc, without conversion. Yes, it's nice and sturdy. Yes, you can update software and share books via built-in wifi. The battery life is awesome. I highly recommend it to people who... want to shell out the clams. Granted, it's a pretty high priced ebook reader, but IMHO, it's the best out there right now for a whole lot of reasons.
