iPhone MMS is Live — Go Out and Kill the AT&T Network Now
I just hooked my iPhone 3G up to iTunes and it duly updated my carrier settings. A quick power down/ on of the phone and MMS is now active. I’m now going to do my share to bring the AT&T network down. I can’t do it alone so you iPhone owners get MMS working and join my efforts.

Only if you update to 3.1, not sure I want to do that, the last time I did that I lost everything on my phone. I will just send Postcard,
Have you seen any issues with the 3.1 update like the freezing described by so many????
Are you able to edit video send by email, like others in the 3.1 update??
Thanks
I have no issues on an iPhone 3G. I don’t have a fancy new 3GS yet.
According to “people” if you send a video file to the Iphone 3G with the 3.1 update you can edit video. It needs to be m4v, would like to know if this is true??
iphone 3G S video is fun to use. i use twitvid free iphone app to post my videos on their web page. it will also forward them to youtube if you want it to.
Hi,
Can someone post the settings located in Settings/General/Network/Cellular Data/ MMS settings. I want to know the official settings on an iPhone that is not hacked that now has MMS legally from the latest iTunes update from today. Thanks so much for your help.
yeah, I too am concerned with upgrading to 3.1, I might just try to get the carrier file on there without doing the 3.1 update – based on all the issues others have had with 3.1
I’m in Chicago and apparently people have done a great job killing it here; I did the carrier update, restarted my phone and am blissfully free of the ability to enjoy the new feature that is overdue beyond the point of insult. Any other readers in parts of the country striking out as well?
Not working well in Des Moines. 3 out of 4 pics not sending. 1 voice memo went out and was received. At this rate the future of iPhone tethering seems bleak.
Here in DC the network seems to be fine. I ran the update earlier today and the only issue I have noticed is battery. I charge it and in a matter of a short period it is “dead” again. Then I charge it and it charges very quickly and in about the same amount of time it is dead again. Not sure what’s going on. Any ideas?
I’m not sure what the problem is with your battery but I wouldn’t think it would be from the update. I’ll let you know if I hear anything. I’m in DC suburbs as well.

Not working in South Carolina; update worked fine, but the mms just won’t go through.
