What the iPhone app overcomes is the need to be next to that computer. For example: without the iPhone software, the basketball shoot example above would have required someone constantly standing over the basketball net at the computer. Doable, but not ideal. I can think of many situations where I wouldn&#039;t want to be at the computer, which is only 3&#039; away from the tethered camera. It offers far more flexibility IMO. Others might not want or need that flexibility and could easily get by with the EOS Utility on a computer.]]></description>
