Actually, Zuneinsider.com has stated this:

<a href="http://www.zuneinsider.com/2006/08/this_isnt_a_zun.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.zuneinsider.com/2006/08/this_isnt_a_zun.html</a>

"Lots of folks have asked me: what do I think about the Zune UI and a photo allegedly getting out there? I would re-introduce our old friend "Rumor and speculation" ;). Basically, I wouldn't draw conclusions about Zune based on what you see in those places. Unless you see it in this blog or another official source, then just take it w/ a grain of salt."

"...they have gotten their hands on a Zune prototype and written a brief
overview."

JK,

I don't think they got their hands on a review unit...If you read their article, they are very uncertain about specific details that would be obvious if they had one (e.g. "...apparently made entirely of plastic"). If they had one in their hands, it would be VERY obvious that it was made of plastic.

It seems that they just did some scrounging around for details and put it on their site. It is very unlikely that MSFT would give a prototype to iLounge for a very biased look (that is just as bad or worse that giving it directly to Apple). I'll wait until I see a C|NET review before I trust anyone else.
