I miss his kind voice in person and online.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve been thinking the same thing lately. I miss him too! I was just talking about him at dinner tonight. I’m so lucky to know him (and you too!). He’s one of the good guys.

I guess there are no coincidences… I was googling something (don’t remember what now) on Sunday and one of the links found was to one of Marc’s old blog posts. I spent most of the afternoon reading through the many words of wisdom there. I then went back and listened to a few of the OnTheRun with Table PCs podcasts while working out – as I had so many times over the last couple of years. I miss him too.

Yeah James, I miss him too. I recently received a note for the next Gnomedex and immediately thought of Marc since the 2007 conference was where we last chatted face-to-face and I do miss him. He also pops up from time to time in Gmail as I start to enter an email address with “M” in it. The world is a better place because of him and I wish he was still around to share it with us and continue to make it a better place.

James it is “funny” you mentioned Mark this morning. As I was “RSS’ing” this AM I to was thing about him and what his slant would be on the iPhone situation and the raft of new laptop/convertible notebooks coming out.
Having a good friend to talk to and bounce around ideas with you is important in life. I have such a friend(s), I know you miss him.

Thanks for giving me the reminder to look out for my health. I know….we can’t always be 100 percent healthy plus sometimes we are the way we are because of our family…however we don’t have to be dumb and eat any ole thing we want whenever we want it.

I miss the Tablet PC show too. I remember listening to James and Marc talk about tablet pc’s and I first noticed the show when I was camping on vacation(campground had wifi). Anyway, he’s missed here too.

He was a good guy. A Heart attack can strike at anytime. You have to live life to the fullest and a loss of a good friend is hard, but think of the good times and take care of yourself.

Often find myself thinking about him whenever I see his face on Twitter (not had the heart to remove him as a mark of respect). He’d have had a field day with a lot of the recent tech news.

Completely agree and I found myself recently thinking about Marc as well. I’ll never forget sharing a hotel room with him in NYC for an AOL/Weblogs conference weekend. I was sick and had to skip dinner one of the nights; he fired up Batman Begins on the Gateway Tablet he brought and sat in the room with me instead of hitting dinner with everyone.

Sorry you miss your friend James.

I was reminded of Marc the other day, because Entourage popped up and reminded me that it was his birthday next week. Even though I didn’t know him anywhere near as well as you did, I miss him and his words.
