I’m still waiting for HTC to take the Touch but turn it into a slider with the Dash’s keyboard. Then give it T-mobiles 3g network, with a cherry on top.

I like my Dash because its truly a one handed device. All side out keyboards are to wide to use with one hand.

Any thoughts? Anyone else staying away from two handed smartphones?

Could you compare the advantages and disadvantages between the HTC Touch Pro and the Sony Ericsson Xperia 1. I was aiming and planning to get the X1 but then this came out and I wonder no which would be the better device? Also does the HTC Touch Pro touchscreen, allow touch like a capacitative touch screen or like a hard touch that uses a stylus or both? i would like both so i can have handwriting recognition and easy touch control with my fingers.

This will definitely be my next phone when they bring it to Sprint later this year.

I was scared that they’d have repeated the horrible mistake of the Diamond and put a 900MAh battery into this thing, but 1350 is a lot more reasonable.

I was pretty sure I was looking at an Xperia X1 for myself next, but this definitely throws that into doubt. Fast, VGA, GPS, keyboard… bravo, HTC.
