I have the HP460 and it's a spectacular printer, using same engine and 6 color inks Deskjet printers used, and output results are stunning photo quality from HP Premium Plus Paper while zipping out laser quality text pages.

Only the battery was disappointing, lasting under year with little use. I suspect longer life requires frequent cycles. It was amazing getting such flawless photo prints inside an auto interior. The BT works well, although slower and no feedback two-way for ink levels, etc. The wifi does, I believe.

Large size files process best using USB corded. This little printer has no problem cranking out 100MB 8x10 tiff files, not a trace of jagged, streaks or lines as trade off to accept from it's size.

I have a Canon BJC65 also, while marginally smaller bare, once battery attached size differences shrink, while quality of output can't compare. The HP460-470 printers produce truly desktop printer output, just slower and manual feed (it's important to carefully guide 8 1/2x11 photo paper into short intake port).

This is best-in-class choice when print quality tops the list. I bought a $20 Sumdex large Inner case sleeve which holds the 460 with battery, extra cartridges and AC cords in 4x6 index card cases at bottom, and small paper supply inventory made exact fitted outfit.

These printers would also be useful at athletic events such as 2K's, 5K's, Ironman's etc...
