it&#039;s possible to revert back to xp from vista if and only if it&#039;s &quot;custom&quot; parallel upgrade. that is if you chose &quot;Custom&quot; upgrade when you did the upgrade inside the windows xp environment. here, there are two options in upgrading, &quot;custom&quot; or just &quot;upgrade&quot;. if you chose upgrade you cant revert back to xp. there will be no windows.old folder&lt;br /&gt;
if you did the upgrade by going into the DVD drive right away (outside windows environment) then you can&#039;t revert back to xp as well.&lt;br /&gt;
