Houston Zoo iPhone App Goes Live

The Houston Zoo is one of the most impressive zoos in the country. It is positively huge and has activities happening all day. I was happy to hear that the zoo has produced an app for the iPhone to help the public make the most of visits to see the animals. The iPhone app is well done and demonstrates the perfect use for the iPhone. The free app taps into the zoo’s Twitter feed, has a zoomable map of the park and loads of information about the various animals you can visit. I found it especially cool that you can search for stuff that is close to your location within the park. Well done!
