And btw, why are you so skeptical of rotation? After I saved the post, it was only then that I recall you can, for instance, put the Sony Reader in landscape mode. Not 180, but at least half!

I had to go look at the vid again myself, stopped at the promo vid. But this time I noticed his one hand was actually on the roll-out paper portion. (My god! The Toilet Paper e-reader!)

Anyway, it doesn’t appeal to me.

Of course, jk has already put in *his* two orders. Hey, Mrs jk, guess what you’re getting for Xmas? (ROTF x 2!)

Yes, I see one-handed operation in that video but I don’t see any rotation on the device. There was a marketing video above the booth that showed rotated content, but I have yet to see anyone show it on a working device. Call me cautiously curious. And stop slapping me. ;)

Nice video. And it really is fast page refresh.

It is unfortunate that they are looking to go with their own proprietary system. They could be the only e-ink device maker that supports an open format which would immediately put them ahead of Sony and Amazon, at least in available content.

Imagine being able to use eReader or MobiPocket content on this device?
