I want to get a (Radio loop) a broadcast line from my home in Portsmouth Va. to a radio studio in Norfolk Va. All I know is that Verizon provides the service I'm not sure of the proper name used to order it. I spent one hour and 15 minutes & listen to repeat background music recycled during that episode. My e-mail is revnattwilliams@cox.net, my verizon number is 757-558-2955, my fax number is 757-967-9125 May I have a good number to talk with representatives and request a quote for my need.

Great story. I love how you offer to cancel your voice plan. Nailed them with their own rules. These telcos really need to treat their existing customers at least as well as the new ones.

I got mine from a knowledgeable rep at an efficient store in Boulder, CO -- ten minutes in and out.
Their tech said that phones with WiFi could use that capability to make calls that wouldn't count against minutes on a cell plan. I didn't pursue this idea since my phone is old school. (and besides very few Verizon phones have WiFi anyway - as we all know).
Has anyone else heard this?

They behave in the same way. In the UK they treat customers the same. You will normally see a high degree of customer churn on mobile networks as customers port numbers looking for the best deals in terms of handset upgrades and cross net minutes and texts. You only tend to get the best deal when you ask for your pac code. As soon as you do this, you get transferred to the "retentions dept" who have more scope to offer a better deal. Then its up to you.

One thing I'm always curious about with 3G routers (of which there are a few, but most not as portable as this) is how good they are at reconnecting after a connection has been broken (I mean the 3G connection, not the wif-fi connection). This affects how practical such devices are for use in trains or in cars/buses. Ideally you want the device to reconnect automatically when the signal comes back. You don't want to have to do it manually.
