Google is down!
This morning the unthinkable has happened:
All other sites work but Google can’t be accessed. The Internet may collapse!
UPDATE: it’s back! This was very strange as I was unable to access google for 30 minutes! It made me realize how dependent I have become on google and it was very unsettling indeed.

Eggs, basket – while feature rich, Google is a single point of failure on many levels.
Been researching peer/distributed networking – do you know of and/or have worked with any good programs that route individual devices with each other via wireless that do not bring the performance to it’s knees?
Looking for something like a linked in 6 degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon thing that does low-level optimized routing amongst devices.
Do you use Comcast?

You could have tried Yahoo again. It’s gotten quite good!
Yeah, see. This is what makes me leery of when we all get convinced to move from installed apps to apps on the web. Sure you say, the web doesn’t go down very often, but you just got what it’s like when suddenly you can NOT get to what you need. Ask all those Blackberry owners what those recent days were like. I see how tenuous a thread we are hanging on here and how reliant we are becoming on getting “connected.”
It’s not Google. It’s your ISP.
