FUEL Adds 150% More Gas to BlackBerry Bold

It seems like most of the new external battery packs of late were geared towards iPhones. But while case-mate offers just such a device, they’re showing some love for the BlackBerry Bold as well. The $79.95 FUEL adds 1.5 times more juice to the Bold’s battery and protects your handset as well. You put the Bold into the FUEL, which looks like an open-faced handset case, and the FUEL will add 20 additional days of standby time or up to seven hours of talk time.

Inside the FUEL case is a 2300 mAh battery, so this solution will add slightly more bulk to your Bold, but not too much. There’s even a clip on the back of the FUEL, so the Bold will always be less than an arm’s length away. You can manage when your Bold is getting more juice from the FUEL with an on/off switch located on the side.
