I bought the last version (9) of Partition Commander, installed it and found it to be really hard to even understand.
The Aspire One does not have a CD drive.
When I saw your comments on the Easeus product, I downloaded it and tried it and it works – NO SWEAT!!!
I now have the original small restore partition, a 66MB XP partition and an unused 40GB unallocated partition.
So now to make a bootable memory stick, add an image, boot and install Linux on the 40GB

Otherwise you need to pay for the Pro version for 64-bit support. I’m not looking a gift horse in the mouth; I just thought I would point it out, since I’m sure others besides me have bought “non-Pro” 64-bit machines in the past year!
