FontSmoother: anti-aliasing fonts on the Palm OS
Just caught word from Palm Infocenter that FontSmoother was just upgraded to v2.2 for Palm OS 5 devices. Since I still don’t own a Palm, I did some digging and found a nice review of the application, albeit in an older version, over at Brighthand. From the looks of the before and after comparisons shown above from the Brighthand review, FontSmoother looks like a welcome addition to a Palm. Actually, the pic is an after and before if you’re viewing from left to right.FontSmoother costs $12.95, but there is a fully-function eight-day trial available. Apparently folks complained that a week wasn’t enough time to evaulate it.

But they can’t spell recipe or Worcestershire. Fonts don’t help you spell. Pity.
Yes Kevin, I too was glad to see the developer listen to the buying public and give that full 8 day trial. I find that only after a full 8 days of useage can one feel that they can really get the feel of a software product. I had tried often to do this in 7 days and always felt I was wanting more. :)
