HEllo!
Just read your blog on your open heart surgery...it was so interesting. My husband had emergency open heart surgery 4 1/2 years ago this coming March 5th....It all went well, then a year later during the superbowl, he complained of chest pains...wouldn't go to the ER (game was on)He said it was indigestion... the next morning when I was going to call 911, he agreed to a trip to the hospital...he indeed had had a heart attack...two years ago we found out he has now developed type 2 diabetes....I am writing you because my husband was only 43 years old at the time...6'3" 240-ish (according to him :) never sick in our 20 years of marriage and never missed a day of work!! It's so hard to look at him and believe he is a very sick man. We are in the process of selling our home here in Seattle. Even though we have medical (no prescription...didn't think I needed that) our medical bills have devistated us financially...I laughed when you talked about your former employer having to cover your medical...good for you! Hope you are doing well...enjoyed your story.
