        I wouldn&#039;t be surprised if Exxon or some other oil giant has already filed a patent on the technology to restrict it&#039;s development and manufacture. We all know the reason why electric vehicles aren&#039;t on the roads today, and we can thank Cobasys and GM for that one.

        Graphite is used as an anode in most li-ion batteries.  Replacing it with silicon shouldn&#039;t cost a whole lot if that’s all that needed.  Most silicon upgrades only cost 2 grand a pair... wait, what are we talking about?   :)
