Fat Fingers- find misspelled eBay items
eBay generates over a billion page views a DAY. Of the tens of millions of items for sale on eBay at any given time, how many misspelled item names prevent the auction from showing up in a search? The correct answer is thousands. A very enterprising individual has a web site called appropriately Fat Fingers that let’s you search for items that are misspelled. Enter in your item name, hit the GENERATE button, and Fat Fingers generates a link that you click based on dozens of permutations of your search term. Click the link and instantly eBay gives you all active auctions for those items that are misspelled by the seller. You should be able to pick up some real bargains with no one else bidding against you. Innovative and jkOTR salutes you. Thanks to The Red Ferret Journal for this jewel.

So I purchased a hx4705 for $694!!!! THANKS for this great URL…If it weren’t for this…I wouldn’t be getting my next VGA device!!!
Great to hear it bk! How much commission do I get? BTW, this article about Fat Fingers is the most googled article on this site after the U70 review.

Misspellr lets you search eBay as well as Craigslist and Yahoo Auctions
Personally I think the AuctionPixie web site is good, the search engine there is very precise and always find exactly what you are after.
The web site can be found here: http://www.auctionpixie.co.uk/search/
As a bonus for sellers, they have other free tools over there too – like a free scrolling (flash) showcase gallery!

Well I guess as you get older (hahahahaha) its only family that remembers special occasions. And yes to Vicki and my amazing boyfriend, you are my family! Especially at this time family is the most important

There’s another site that does similar things called http://www.Missing-Auctions.com. It allows you to search eBay silently using RSS feeds (http://www.missing-auctions.com/rssfeed.php) so that newly listed misspelled items are brought to your attention within hours of being listed – something that eBay’s RSS feeds can’t do.
It also does the usual misspelling thing like many of the other sites mentioned above but also offers a tag cloud (http://www.missing-auctions.com/tagcloud.php) so that you can see what the most popular searches are – useful if you’re looking to buy stuff cheap to sell on again.
There are also browser plugins (http://www.missing-auctions.com/downloads.php) and even a tutorial (http://www.missing-auctions.com/tutorial.php) to get you started.
Enjoy !
Just adding to the list of misspelled eBay search tools is my favourite at http://www.apnretail.co.uk as it covers a very long list of international eBay sites, has an AJAX enabled tool to fetch details of listings that you are interested in, and the ability to email details of a listing that has caught your eye, good for letting people know what you really want for your birthday!

These site have much more combinations than the others i have tested before.
Take a look.

Also worth checking out is Invisible-Auctions.com (http://www.invisible-auctions.com ). It does all the usual Ebay misspelling stuff but better than the rest :-)
I like The Oktshun Engine at http://www.oktshun.com . Easily find misspelled auctions on most international eBay sites.
The best eBay misspell search engine is at:
http://www.timevsmoney.com
There you will also find other great bits of information to earn extra income.
Remember, work SMARTER, not harder! See you at TimeVsMoney.com
One of the best eBay misspelled listings tool is at http://www.newlifeauctions.com/misspell.html
It is not just another copy of the same word spelling generator that the other tools use. It uses custom software to find misspelled listings that the other tools can’t find.
It filters out common words from the variations so you won’t end up with a bunch of unrelated listings. Most of the other tools don’t do this.
You can refine your search by including and/or excluding words from the title. This greatly helps you find what you are looking for very quickly.
The site is full of other useful eBay related information. Definitely worth a visit to see for yourself.
