        &lt;p&gt;You have to remove the comment &quot;it just works&quot; from your description of the Macbook Pro under JK&#039;s gear. The truth is the OS X just works. Their hardware is as crappy as the next.  I&#039;ve replaced batteries, and keyboards on my Motion and power supplies on my Mac. I&#039;ve seen friends HDs dive on their Macs and their screens go kaput. So Macs unfortunately don&#039;t just work but I do think SSDs will help to stabilize all personal computers. Macs power issues are another deal all together.&lt;/p&gt;
