(Plus you get a brief vacation!)

Like importing a device like that costs a company like expansys THAT much money, huh ;). It’s 100% profit for them this way. It’s best to either a) have a friend in Japan who’s willing to ship you one, or b) wait for eBay to start filling up. *or* you can try to find somebody on auctions.yahoo.co.jp who is willing to ship internationally (like http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e58028641). That is, if you can cross the language barrier ;).
