eReader deal: 20% off entire order through June 27th
My favorite eBook store is holding a Subscriber Appreciation Sale this week: get 20% of your entire order now through June 27th. You’ll need promo code SMRSL when you checkout, so if you’ve been holding off on an eBook content purchase, now is a great time to pull the trigger. Out of the three or four smartest things I’ve ever done (I’m working on increasing that number), signing up for eReader’s e-mail newsletter is up there. There’s a 10% promo code in every mailing and then there’s the occasional super deal like this. Couple that with simple and effective DRM activation where your purchases are tied to your credit card number (not a physical device) and it’s eBook heaven as far as I’m concerned. It doesn’t hurt that their eReader software works well on just about every platform of computer, UMPC and handheld device save a few…..

Thanks for sharing the site. Think I’ll buy a couple of books to read.
“if you’ve been holding off on an eBook content purchase, now is a great time to pull the trigger.”
There are MANY reasons I’ve been holding off buying ebooks:
- NO ONLY/STANDARD/UNIVERSAL ereader; who wants to load/mess with 10′s of different programs just to read ebooks
- ebooks are priced MUCH too high, compared to print and even to PC versions; e.g. M-W dictionaries or encyclopedias, etc. Deals on BN.com are almost everytime cheaper than ebooks; THAT’S A SHAME!!!
- impossible to resell, like printed or CD-rom versions
As long as these won’t be corrected ebooks will be doomed (tiny niche market) as they are today!!!
