I keep thinking to myself, “what if Sony made the adamo?”
I am sure It would be more attractive (smaller and lighter) but cost twice as much

Thank you, Kevin, for pointing out the obvious. Uber-thin is nothing more than a novelty with a 13″ or bigger notebook. The battery life is below-average due to physical size constraints while the performance is dismal because of the lack of a proper thermal budget to handle a decent processor/GPU.

You cannot change the laws of physics to fit the performance of a mainstream notebook into something under an inch thick. I don’t see battery technology getting ahead much. Maybe when Intel gets down to 22nm you’ll have your 8 hours, but by then performance will be at a different benchmark altogether.

Not impressed with the way it opens. However, if this thing gets a gpu bump, it may be worth a better look.

If you had a poll here asking if people would want one at the same price of a standard netbook – I bet on at least 50% would say no. I for sure. Looks too fragile. and i need to hold on something … this is just an example of an anorectic device. Too much either side is usually too bad.
