Dell XPS M1330 review: portable powerhouse?
I didn’t snap a pic, but I first got to see the Dell XPS 1330 with my own four eyes a few weeks ago at the Digital Experience show. The striking design captured my attention immediately and after reading this review of the laptop over at Notebook Reviews, it sounds like a real performer as well as a looker. With the 9-cell extended battery, the device weighs about 4.5 pounds, which is around my limit personally. While a standard battery would cut the weight, the 9-cell provides nearly five hours of computing time when combined with the LED screen option and raises the device so that it runs a bit cooler. Check all the benchmarks of the Santa Rosa powered notebook and see if you think it’s portable powerhouse.

I still don’t understand why they dropped the 12.1″ model.
I waited a month to get this unit. When I finally got it, it developed a problem with the display after a week. It made the unit totally unusable. I waited another two weeks for the replacement. The replacement had a stripped access screw for the WWAN card compartment. I couldn’t transfer my card to the new unit. Quality control really sucks on this unit and the unit itself does not give me a lot of confidence.
