I think there should be an open standard for multi-touch devices for the 3 major OSs. That would stop companies like dell from rolling out weak software for them. It looks like windows 7 will address this, but I could be wrong.

Well i do think it is kinda cool you can do it but really i dont know what to use it for, and it sure does not justify the price of the XT

I expect 'both' of them will be excited.

If they cut off say $1000 maybe hundreds of people would be excited. :)

I think this is great news and I'm looking forward to the details of the implementation. Specifically, I'm curious if you can configure the amount of zoom when using two fingers to expand/contract the view. What I wouldn't want to do is have to zoom, zoom, zoom with a repeated gesture to get to the desired amount of zoom. This is the challenge to such a feature on a large-screen device. Regardless of that question in my mind, I'm glad to see Dell XT owner having something to look forward to tomorrow!
