Related, odd that they hosted Scoble’s launch party. There are no lines anymore it appears. He pans the Pre’s launch weekend of 50,000 moved units claiming it’s a poor performance. Yet, dropping $200 and signing up for two years of service is not trivial. Palm isn’t Apple (and Sprint is Sprint). Any CE device that moves 50,000 units at launch is off to a great start. Will be interesting to see how much the CrunchPad ends up selling for and how many they sell that first weekend.
