I have actually been thinking about such a form factor for a do it all device, plus I love the dock. I think what got me thinking about it was the iRiver P7, when sitting in the cradle, it looks like an alarm clock to me. That's what I want, a device that is my portal to my work and the internet during the day, and the last thing I do is set my alarm on it at night, and when I wake up, it has widgets such as weather, traffic info etc. I know they can do this already, but not seamlessly, not as inconspicuously as I would like. Plus a front mounted cam for video calls(plus a proc. to handle it) and a physical keyboard would be perks. The dock is what seals it for me in a strange way though, as the device is still serving a purpose when I am off to bed, and the form factor enables it in an aesthetic manner.

sorry for the ramble
