CompUSA shutting down; don’t wait for bargains
Sad news that was rumored for a few weeks but is now fact: CompUSA is closing down its remaining stores and of course… everything must go. If you’re looking for good deals, that’s what you should consider doing as well: go. When my local CompUSA shut down in round one earlier this year, I waited a week or two after the news before I hit the brick-and-mortar storefront. Big mistake. Sure there were signs indicating massive discounts, but there wasn’t any decent stock left. I waited too long, so consider stopping in sooner rather than later if you’re near one of the 103 locations still left. Although the liquidation isn’t scheduled until after the holidays, you’ll have a much better chance at finding something worth buying over the next few weeks if history is any indication.

I don’t remember seeing any big bargains the first time they closed some of their stores.
10% off, Please!!
Really, good frikkin riddance! That was a store that had the worst selection I’ve ever seen. They started going downhill fast about 3 years ago and just never got it together.
Hey, Fry’s! Come to NYC and take over those locations!!
