Coffee Break — Going Long and Wide
I am working this afternoon at the local Panera Bread. I am firmly entrenched in the college and professional football seasons here in U.S., so today I decided to go long and wide. The big 14-inch screen of the loaner Lenovo T400s was just the ticket, especially given the 1440×900 resolution. And of course there is that great keyboard. :)
I took the photo with the HTC Hero camera. It has a 5 megapixel camera and I must say, this photo is not as good as those I take with the Pre. The Pre is at home right now, as I discovered it had a completely drained battery, even though it had been sitting on the Touchstone charger. Uh oh.

Drained Pre…yeah, I have missed the placement of my Pre on the Touchstone a couple of time. It felt like the magnet took hold but it was not charging. I make sure to look for the battery charging notice now. Any chance that’s what happened for you?
I’m pretty sure that’s what happened. It surprised me as the Pre wasn’t particularly low on battery when I put it to bed last night.
Seems you like the same cozy corner I look for in my local Panera.
I like the MS Curve mouse James! How do you find it in regards to overall comfort? Also, I love Thinkpads. I have an old T43 with a high res screen and love it!
I love the Arc mouse and bring it instead of a Bluetooth travel mouse. It is so comfortable to use.
I also find that the BB Storm takes really good pictures. James if syou compared the Storm to the Hero, would say that the Storm does a better job? Maybe if time permits you can do a phone camera show down. :) I’m looking forward for when the Storm 2 gets released hopefully later in October, but we might just see the same when the current Storm was going to be released, it showed in Sept, then October, and finally in Nov.
James,
Would love to read a comparison between the pre and the hero.
Also highly recommend the Seido extended battery for the Pre!
This was the Seidio. I also recommend it for the extra battery life.
