Right now my main concern about the 1620 is the fan noise, do you know how does it compare for example with a Samsumg Q1U? Btw, does the laptop get too warm at any moment?. Thanks.

Josh, I use the Ink Plugin for Windows Live Writer for the ink posts. it don’t think there is one past for a primer, search the site or look in the Tablet PC category as there are many articles about getting going with Tablets.

James, when you do these inking posts are you just embedding saving a screenshot and uploading it?

My first tablet is on the way so I am assuming this is part of one note or journal..

Also do you have a tablet primer article? Things people new to tablets should know, important accessories must have software etc,

Would you consider a comparison of your 3 not quite similar machines. For the guy who only can/wants to buy one. p1620 cs. 2710p, vs x61. Not so much specs and speed but living with passive, vs active vs both for inking, how is the general inking experience give the different screen materials and format sizes. How handy is the light and cam on the hp? how are the wieghts for carrying around of office all day, on planes, etc.
I’m sure there’s other questions like that…not quite a head to head, but your preferences for being a normal office/knowledge worker.

Ja, I don’t play games on the Fuji but according to the utility you linked it passes for WoW. Note that the video is just past the minimum though.

Hey James, glad to see you’re enjoying your P1620. I’m thinking of getting the P1620 as my primary laptop, and hence want to enjoy light gaming (games that aren’t too recent such as World of Warcraft and Warcraft III) on it. If you can, may you please go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest
and see whether it meets the recommended/minimum World of Warcraft requirements? If not, can you see whether it can run Warcraft III? Or if you have personal experience, that would be much preferred ;)

re: in-depth video review of the P1620. I intend to do one but it will largely repeat the 52 minute video I did of the P1610. The device by and large is identical from a video standpoint so check it out meantime.
