The fact that you can buy a whole laptop for that price with 8GB of memory hasn’t crossed these people’s minds, or that maybe you can get that memory upgrade elsewhere for hundreds less, dare they not pay the “Apple tax”.

It’s these very same people who consider themselves experts with money to spend, yet end up looking like idiots when somebody with considerably better knowledge shows them what they spent $3000 on can be had for $1400. That’s usually when they give you that stare that says amazement and stupidity, and they retreat somewhere to hide their ignorance, never to be seen again.
