Safari is in general the “fastest” of the three. FF 3 is now a very close second… but I just like the Safari UI, the look, the way bookmarks and feeds are implemented. It’s a personal choice. Yes, I’ve had Macs before and used Safari there, but I’m Mac-less at the moment…

I would only use Opera if it weren’t for the random google errors.

Safari browsing of your site has probably gone up since you guys joined the cult… ;)

Personally, I’ve been using Firefox since before there was a v1. There’s been a few bumps along the way, but it’s still my browser or choice. I’m running RC3 at the moment, which wasn’t as good as RC1. Suppose I’ll get out of beta today or tomorrow.

So what you’re saying is that there are still a distressing percentage of poor souls who haven’t discovered Opera 9.5? ;)

georgi55: around 12% of our readership is Mac, so I think the Safari number isn’t heavily influenced by Apple’s attempt to get Safari on Windows devices. Besides, just having Safari installed (even if the user didn’t initiate it) wouldn’t count in these stats. The users would have to actually use Safari to hit the site, which is a conscious choice.

There was the hijack of Safari on windows through iTunes update so maybe that’s another reason safari reached 10%.

I am getting 61% on IE and over 50% on Vista but I will make sure I still cater for my one Windows ME reader :)
