I use stanza all the time, great application! I have never used ereader. but stanza is missing some crucial features from other book readers namely page numbering, search, and definition lookups. does ereader or any other iphone book reader have these features?

This is such awesome news! I love eReader books, but Stanza is such an awesome app. Kudos to both companies for realizing and capitalizing on the opportunity to work together.

Marc had it right. Select online catalog. Hit the + at the bottom right of the screen. Hit “Add Web Page”. Enter “mobile.ereader.com” as the URL. I was able to log in, go to my online bookshelf, and download a book from my bookshelf to Stanza. It prompted me to enter the code to unlock the book, and then BAM! I was reading. Thanks for the tip.

How can I get my books in the Fictionwise eReader format from my desktop to my iPhone?

Since Stanza Desktop does not yet support opening books in the eReader format, you will need to find an alternative solution for transferring your books from your desktop to Stanza on your iPhone or iPod Touch. One such solution is to upload your book to the “Personal Content” section of your bookshelf at stanza.fictionwise.com.

The logins for stanza.fictionwise.com (which Stanza uses) and http://www.fictionwise.com/www.ereader.com (the main Fictionwise storefront) use different account information. You can still access your eReader bookshelf by adding mobile.ereader.com as a “Web Catalog”.

Maybe so. There is a Stanza by Fictionwise bookstore accessible from Stanza on the iPhone but it goes to the Fictionwise website, not the ereader website. My ereader login doesn’t work on this site and when I created a new Fictionwise login it doesn’t access my ereader content. I’m suspecting that Fictionwise made a deal with Stanza to sell books and that Stanza can read them, but I don’t see the connection with my already purchased books from ereader.com. I hope that will be the case.

Please wait until the official press release in an hour to be able to access everything. You’ll need to use the eReader store in Stanza to get at stuff, I believe. We’re ahead of the curve on this news.

Am I missing something? The login for Stanza by Fictionwise is different from the login for ereader.com. I don’t see any way to access my ereader bookshelf. What am I doing wrong?
