Border crossing yields $4 iPhone headset adapter

IphoneheadsetadapterI might have enough Canadian pennies saved up for this headphone adapter from Helium Digital. Oh stop laughing, I know you have some of those Maple Leaf cents in a drawer too. Seriously, for $3.99 Canadian and free shipping, I think I’m going to nab an HD-005 3.5 mm headphone adapter for my iPhone. Chris Leckness found this inexpensive cable that allows you to use any standard headphone set with the iPhone’s recessed jack. The HD-005 works with microphone-equipped ‘phones too, so you can have the best of both worlds. Now the trick is to decide what headphones to buy. I can’t drop too much money on a full-time blogger budget, but the Shure E2c’s are in our Amazon store for under $55 right now, so I’m leaning in that direction. I don’t need a microphone on my headset, so I’m open to suggestions…
