Scotty, you’re absolutely right about the delay in your search and knowing when the search has finished – the problem is that many sites, like Amazon for example, throttle how many searches you can run against their site, so it’s not possible to estimate in advance how long a particular search will take. And if you’re in the queue behind someone who’s decided to search on “the bible” (which is what is currently holding things up), it takes a long long time.

I’m going to work on improving this. In the meantime, if you run a search on a book that’s already in our db, you’ll get an immediate response.
